Temporary
vs. Residual Income
Have
you ever said to yourself, "There's Got to be a Better Way?"
How is it that some
people are able to earn incredible incomes and have the time to enjoy the fruits
of their labor, while others struggle just to make ends meet and find there aren't
enough hours in the day to do what they really want to do?
The answer is
actually quite simple. The type of lifestyle you have is determined not only by
the amount of income you earn, but also the type of income you earn. Now we realize
that sounds very basic… but think about it.
Although there are many ways
to earn income, there are really only 2 types of income. There's... TEMPORARY
INCOME where you do the work one time and get paid one time. ...and there's...
RECURRING INCOME where you can do the work one time, but get paid for that
work over and over again - thus creating an ongoing CASH FLOW. So what kind
of income do you earn? TEMPORARY or RECURRING? Not sure? Ask yourself...
If you're an employee, aside from allotted vacation or sick days, if you don't
go to work, do you still get paid? Ask yourself... If you're a professional,
like a doctor, lawyer or accountant, if you don't see your patients or clients,
will they still pay you for your services? Ask yourself... If you're
in sales, perhaps real estate, cars or retail, if you don't show up to work, will
your customers still pay you a commission? Ask yourself... If you own a small
business, does it do as well when you're not there as it does when you are?
If you answered NO to any of those questions, then you earn TEMPORARY INCOME.
Temporary income is income that is strictly dependent on the amount of hours
you put in. And since there is always a limit to the amount of hours you can or
are willing to work, there will always be a limit to the amount of income you
can earn. The reality is that you can never really accumulate wealth and enjoy
true lifestyle by exchanging time for money. There simply are not enough hours
in the day!
Our goal is to help you make the transition
from TEMPORARY income to RECURRING income so that you can accumulate wealth, and
have the quality time to enjoy your success.
