Work From Home Scams

Below I have listed some Work from home scams I have found...

Stuffing Envelopes

Why are they scams & how they work?
They advertise like you can just put flyers or whatever in an envelope and mail it, then you'll get money. But, this is what really happens. You send them money with the assumption that this is going to be 'easy money', but when you receive the package they sent, you find out different. They expect you to advertise this package they sent you, then, IF & when people respond to your ad and want to order; you ask them to send $35 or something like that & you ship them copies of the same package that you received. You keep the $35 as payment. They then do what you just did to TRY to earn money. You then keep doing this to keep getting paid.

Like I said, it sounds good at first, but it is a scam! Believe me, I fell for it.

Autosurfing

Why are they scams & how they work?
This one sounds good, like it will work, it seems to make sense.
You need to give them some money to start. The more you give them the more you earn for "surfing" sites. You "surf"/view other people's website ads daily as they flash in front of you on the screen. As you do this you get paid. You are required to "surf" a certain number of sites a day to get paid for that day.  How it works is that you look at these websites/ads for 10-30 seconds each, then another flashes in front of you to look at, and so on. You may look at as many as 10-30 or more sites a day to get paid. The more money you accrue as you surf the more you can "reinvest" to earn more.
This seems to work, after all other people pay to advertise their sites on this "surfing" site, and you make money by viewing their site. They problem is that some people are dishonest and cheat the system, plus the payout is so high, some "surfing" programs can't pay. Many of these sites get shut down eventually and people lose money, even their original "investment" they gave them to start.

Like I said, it seems like it should work, but it is a scam! Believe me, I fell for it. It hurt.

Assembling products from home

Why are they scams & how they work?
They give you products to assemble from home and tell you how to assemble them. You then assemble them as best you can (possibly spending hours) and you send it back to them to "approve". They then find a "flaw" with how you assembled it, and you need to start over. You don't get paid for trying.

This is a scam also! Believe me, I fell for it too.

High Yield Investment Programs

Free Magazine Advertising
Here is a list of the top scams that are taking advantage of honest people just like you and me. I was personally scammed time and time again just looking for a legitimate opportunity.

Bottom line, if it seems to easy, it probably is. Don't learn the hard way like I
did. If you already learned the hard way, learn from it and don't do it again.

Avoid these scams!
